Dr. Carmen Roman is a bilingual, bicultural (Latin-American) psychiatrist whose office is in Menlo Park, California. US-trained and board-certified in Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr. Roman is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., a member Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Dr. Roman earned her degree in medicine from La Facultad de Medicina "San Fernando" de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru. She continued her medical training in the United States with a residency in Psychiatry at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the McAuley Neuropsychiatric Institute, St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Roman provides individual psychotherapy and medication management. She also provides psychiatric consultation, review of records and other services.
